This Privacy Policy explains how Aesthetic L.L.C-FZ (“we”, “us”), the company that operates Video Widget (the “Service”), collects and uses information when you use our iOS app and website. Aesthetic L.L.C-FZ is the data controller, with its registered address at Meydan Grandstand, 6th floor, Meydan Road, Nad Al Sheba, Dubai, U.A.E. If you do not agree with this policy, please do not use the Service.

What we collect

We collect the minimum data needed to run the app, personalize your experience, and improve reliability. Based on our App Store disclosure, the categories below may be collected.

Data linked to you

• Location: coarse location (derived from device/network signals such as IP or system settings)
• Identifiers: user ID (random, per‑installation) and device ID
• Usage Data: product interaction (e.g., feature taps, screens viewed)
• Diagnostics: crash data and performance data

Used for:

• App functionality
• Product personalization
• Analytics (quality, stability, and feature improvement)

Data not linked to you

• Diagnostics that we aggregate or de‑identify when feasible (e.g., aggregated error rates)

Sources of data

• You (when you contact support or change in‑app settings)
• Automatically from your device and the app (events, diagnostics, and basic device context)
• Platform providers (e.g., Apple for billing/receipts and device capabilities)

Accounts and identifiers

• The app creates a random, per‑installation user ID to enable features and diagnostics.
• It is not intended to identify you personally.
• Reinstalling the app may create a new ID and may not carry over prior state.

How we use data

• Operate and improve the app (features, reliability, crash fixes, performance)
• Personalize the experience (e.g., remember selections and surface relevant tips)
• Provide support and respond to requests
• Detect, prevent, and address abuse or technical issues
• Comply with legal obligations

We do not sell your personal information for money.

Legal bases

• Performance of contract: provide core app features and functionality
• Legitimate interests: analytics and diagnostics, security/abuse prevention, and support

Sharing

We share data only as needed to run the Service:

• Service providers (e.g., hosting, analytics, crash reporting, attribution) under confidentiality obligations
• Apple as merchant of record for App Store purchases (receipts, taxes, refunds)
• Legal and safety reasons (if required by law, to protect users, our rights, or the Service)
• Business transfers (if we undergo a merger, acquisition, or asset sale)

We do not share data with third‑party advertisers for their own marketing.

Advertising and attribution

We run ads on third‑party platforms (e.g., TikTok). We use Apple's SKAdNetwork and third‑party attribution services (such as AppsFlyer) to measure ad campaign performance. These attribution providers process data such as device identifiers, timestamps, and in‑app events to attribute installs and measure engagement. We may share de‑identified, aggregated event counts with advertising platforms to measure campaign performance. Our attribution partners operate under strict data‑processing agreements and privacy standards.

Tracking

We use third‑party attribution services that may access the IDFA when you grant tracking permission through Apple's App Tracking Transparency (ATT) prompt. If you decline, these services use privacy‑preserving alternatives. We do not engage in cross‑app tracking beyond what is necessary for attribution purposes.

Location

• We use coarse location for app functionality, personalization, and analytics.
• We do not collect precise GPS coordinates.

Security

We use administrative, technical, and organizational safeguards to protect data (including encryption in transit and at rest where applicable). No method of transmission or storage is 100% secure.

Retention

We retain data only as long as needed for the purposes above, to comply with law, or to resolve disputes. Diagnostic data is generally kept for a limited period so we can analyze trends and fix issues.

Your rights

We use attribution and measurement providers to understand advertising performance; to the extent this is a “share” for cross‑context behavioral advertising under California law, you can opt out by declining Apple’s App Tracking Transparency (ATT) prompt.

Other U.S. state privacy rights

If you live in a U.S. state with a comprehensive privacy law (for example, Virginia, Colorado, Connecticut, Utah, or Texas), you have similar rights to access, correct, delete, and obtain a copy of your personal information, and to opt out of targeted advertising. Children

The Service is not directed to children under 13 (or the minimum age required in your region). If you believe a child provided us information, please contact us and we will take appropriate steps.

International transfers

Data may be processed in countries other than your own. We take steps to protect data consistent with this policy wherever it is processed.

We may update this policy from time to time. If changes are material, we will provide reasonable notice in‑app or on our site. Your continued use of the Service after an update means you accept the changes.
